Your selection of 3 of the following Italian cheeses accompanied with fresh and dry fruits and water crackers:

1) Asiago dolce

Asiago is made in the Veneto & Trento regions, matured for approx 1 month before realise. The rind of the cheese should be discarded. The cheese is grassy, refreshing and creamy. Made using full cream cow milk

 

2) Provolone dolce

Provolone dolce is produced from selected cow’s milk. It is aged for only a shot period of time, allowing it to maintain the delicacy of the milk taste in the cheese. Make using only cow milk.

 

3) Taleggio

Taleggio is a semi-soft, washed-rind cheese from the Valtaleggio region in northern Italy near Lombardia. It is aromatic yet mild in flavour and features tangy, meaty noters with a fruity finish. The texture of the cheese is moist-to-oozy with a very pleasant melt-in-your-mouth feel. The soft texture, pungent aroma and buttery flavours has proven to be addictive especially when spread on a fresh crusty bread. Made using cow milk.

 

4) Gorgonzola dolce

This cheese has a fragile rind; the paste is white to pale yellow with greenish-blue veins. The texture is creamy and moist. The Gorgonzola Dolce is aged for a short period giving this cheese sweetness. Excellent as a table cheese, served as a dessert with fruit or wonderful to cook with. Made using cow milk.

 

5) Grana Padano

Grana Padano a hard granular cheese; another version of the very popular Parmiggioano cheese, made in north of Italy using only selected cow’s milk.

 

6) Pecorino Toscano DOP

Pecorino is complex, intense and aromatic. This cheese is traditionally grated over pasta, or enjoyed as a table cheese with local honey, fruit and cured meats. Golden in colour and rich in mouth feel and flavour, it is a terrific partner for the local truffle that are unearthed at the same time of the year. Made using sheep milk.
